Char Sau on Rice

Marinate an 800 gram of pork shoulder for approximate 1 hour. Hoi sin sauce can be used or kicap manis with black soya sauce can substitute hoi sin sauce. Other ingredients include 5 spices, sugar, salt to taste and dash of pepper. It can be baked and grilled. I cooked it in the marinade sauce for 5 minutes until the meat has the consistency of the lower cheek bone of my face. Remove it from pot and grill for 10 minutes each side with honey, soya sauce and oil glaze. ▼

Not sure why the picture looks yellowish ▲.
The final product ▼.

Ingredient: 500 to 800 gram pork shoulder. Seasonings: 2-3 tbsp of hoisin sauce, 2 tsp soya sauce, ½ cup sugar, 1 tsp 5 spice powder, ¼ tsp salt and some pepper. Note: do not over use chinese 5 spice powder. Glaze: dark soya sauce, honey and oil. All of the same amount.
Use the juices or marinade (must be cooked) as gravy when serving. This will add moisture to the dish.
