This is serious munching time for us and then head off to the gym for some torturing work out :•)
2 cups of flour (standard size cup) or about 220 gram
70-90 gram of granulated sugar or castor sugar will do
a pinch of salt
a pinch of baking soda
100 gram of melted butter
½ a teaspoon of pantan paste
1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil if needed
I usually mix the pantan paste into the melted butter first just to get a balance green colour all over the cookie dough.
In your mixing bowl, mix everything together slowly except for the vegetable oil. If dough get really crumbling then add in the vegetable oil.
Put the dough into the refrigerator for 15 minutes and no longer or else you will find it hard to work on the dough as it harden as butter actually solidified again.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and flatten the dough with a rolling pin and cut out the shapes and sizes you like.
Bake at 200°C for 10 - 12 minutes. It will taste nicer if it is a bit brown on the edges. Cookies will appear a bit soft in the middle when you poke them but will harden as they cool down.
