Universal Studios, Singapore

It was my 1st visit to Universal Studio Singapore but 13th visit to a theme park in total (*grow up! I heard you).

The park is quite small, yet most of the rides were closed that day. The desire for thrills were a let down.  What can I say? I was disappointed by Universal Studio, Singapore.  Should they be selling tickets at all when they know that they're maintaining most of the rides?

You should check to see if they're done with the maintenance before visiting.  Buy your tickets online, you'll get S$10 food coupon and S$5 coupon for merchandises at entrance.  The food and merchandises are relatively cheap too.

I think I should skip theme parks in Asia for now.

Manglish,
Hahaha! I didn't dig into nasi lemak :(

Tekkaus, Uli,
The web is at www.rwsentosa.com, choose "attractive only" on the left side of the screen. once you purchase the tickets, don't forget to print it out and bring it along with you on the day of visit.

Bananazஇ
Well, I ate quite a lot of kuih :o)

Mei Teng,
You'll see people are standing at the entrances of the rides telling you that rides are under maintenance. If rides are really not opened and they knew it, it's absolutely not worth paying S$66. We almost went home after 2 hours if it wasn't because of some shows.

Foongpc,
Have fun there Foong!

Rafael,
Haha! You bet I have, many times. I like those in the USA ones better. I had real fun there :)

Somehow, I feel that Asian theme parks are not great. And I do not like Genting theme park.

Parks like this should be built in Kuching Sarawak. We don't have much entertainment here.

Mei Teng,
We saw a small print that says "a genting company". Maybe that's why it's not that good.

Willie,
I think they pick Singapore for its strategic location.

Yeah.. I think Hong Kong's Ocean Park is not that bad.. but then if you don't intend to go for rides, there is no point. But it's damn expensive!

I don't really go to parks. Been to HK for over 3x now, never step into Disneyland.
